خلاصة
The rapid evolution of technology, particularly the Internet of Things (IoT), has revolutionized healthcare delivery by enabling smarter, connected systems. However, conventional IoT implementations often result in high energy consumption, e-waste generation, and environmental degradation. Therefore, it is crucial to preserve the environment safe and green by reducing the negative influence of IoT as much as possible. As a result, it is critical to accelerate the transition to green technology and to increase the push toward green IoT. (G-IoT). The concept of G-IoT has emerged combining eco-friendly technologies with intelligent devices to reduce the ecological footprint of digital infrastructure. In the context of cancer care and management, G-IoT offers promising avenues for sustainable innovations that enhance patient outcomes while preserving environmental integrity. This systematic review explores the integration of G-IoT in oncology through green sensing networks, low-power devices, eco-efficient data transmission, and sustainable cloud architectures. Key enabling technologies, current challenges, and open research directions are highlighted to facilitate future development in environmentally responsible cancer care.
