| dc.description.abstract | The rapid evolution of technology, particularly the Internet of Things (IoT), has revolutionized healthcare delivery by enabling smarter, connected systems. However, conventional IoT implementations often result in high energy consumption, e-waste generation, and environmental degradation. Therefore, it is crucial to preserve the environment safe and green by reducing the negative influence of IoT as much as possible. As a result, it is critical to accelerate the transition to green technology and to increase the push toward green IoT. (G-IoT). The concept of G-IoT has emerged combining eco-friendly technologies with intelligent devices to reduce the ecological footprint of digital infrastructure. In the context of cancer care and management, G-IoT offers promising avenues for sustainable innovations that enhance patient outcomes while preserving environmental integrity. This systematic review explores the integration of G-IoT in oncology through green sensing networks, low-power devices, eco-efficient data transmission, and sustainable cloud architectures. Key enabling technologies, current challenges, and open research directions are highlighted to facilitate future development in environmentally responsible cancer care. | |
