E-Stories' Effect on the Development of Touristic Awareness of kindergarten Child in Saudi Arabia

| dc.description.abstract | The current study aimed at identifying: the most important historical and touristic monuments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, electronic stories impact in developing touristic awareness of kindergarten child, and the importance of activating them in developing touristic awareness of the Saudi child to enhance the values of belonging and loyalty to the homeland and strengthening the national identity, by using touristic awareness pictorial scale. To achieve these goals, the current study used the experimental method, where a pictorial scale of tourist awareness was developed for kindergarten children and was applied before and after on the study sample (40 boys and girls), which was chosen randomly. A number of electronic stories of the most important historical and touristic monuments in the Kingdom were applied and presented to the children of the experimental group consisting of 20 boys and girls, from pre-school (between 5-6 years) and (20) children as a control group. The results revealed the effectiveness of the proposed electronic stories in developing the child's touristic awareness and knowledge of the most prominent historical and tourist monuments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. | |
