خلاصة
AI technology developments have started to become common components of online educational systems which enable customized learning experiences and automatic teaching methods and data-based decision processes. The AI-powered educational systems study how students interact with their learning materials to create personalized learning paths which offer immediate feedback that helps students stay engaged and improve their academic results. Higher education institutions quickly adopted these technologies, but research shows their effectiveness through actual studies in limited supply. The research study examines how AI-powered educational systems impact student involvement and learning outcomes for undergraduate students. The study used a mixed-methods research design to examine three hundred twenty undergraduate students who took technology-based courses at a public university. The study participants were divided into two groups: one group used an AI-based adaptive learning system, and the other group used a standard learning management system. We collected numerical data through academic performance scores and engagement analytics, while they collected qualitative data through surveys and semi-structured interviews. The study found that students using AI-driven platforms showed higher engagement and better academic performance than those using traditional systems. Students valued personalized feedback and adaptive learning support. However, concerns about data privacy, algorithm reliability, and technology dependence were identified. Overall, AI platforms can improve learning outcomes when used with effective teaching strategies.
