This study aimed to check the impact of all three dimensions of balanced agile project management on firm performance through business process agility. The mediating role of business process agility was measured and proved. Data was collected from employees of the IT sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through purposive sampling. A total of 171 responses were collected and used for data analysis. Structural equation modeling (SEM) technique was used to test the hypothesized relations using the SmartPLS3. The result of analysis revealed the significant relations, and all hypotheses were accepted. Mediating role of business agility in three dimensions of balanced agile project management and firm performance was proved and highlights the importance of agility and control at same time. This study signifies the importance of balanced agile project management on firm performance and role of business process agility. Managers working in dynamic working environment should focus on empowerment, cross-functional collaboration and balancing control for better strategic agility and firm performance. Organizations working in dynamic setting should focus on nimble management.
